**_MAIN RESPONSABILITIES_**:

- ** Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems which require novel and new innovative approaches or a major breakthrough in technology. Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques. Develops knowledge in a field to become a recognized leader or authority in an area of technical specialization and applies this knowledge in leadership roles in the company.**:

- ** Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks. Serves as a resource in the selection orientation and**:

- ** training of new engineers and employees. May lead a project team, determining goals and objectives for the projects. Mentors employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.**:

- ** Exercises judgment in selecting innovative, practical methods to achieve problem resolution (DMAIC, A3's).**:

- ** Create, measure, challenge and improve product and process documentation according Quality Management System.**:

- ** Active contribution to understand, connect and improve key process indicators (Yield, MUV, MSP, MPSP, PFM, CIP, etc). Develop technical process knowledge in all parts of the product manufacturing cycle, for example: In Catheters in Extrusion, Subassemblies and Main Assembly; In PressureWire in raw material, subassemblies, and finished good.**:

- ** Uses statistical techniques and tools (JMP) to facilitate decision making and to draw conclusions from available data.**:

- ** Know, understand and analyze data from JMP, INFINITY to propose process improvements.**:

- ** Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.**:

- ** Maintains procedures current and compliant to regulations. Ensures practices at the manufacturing floor adhere to them.**:

- ** Analyzes equipment data, trends, and performance to assure correct lifecycle management. Identifies and mitigates risks associated to equipment technical knowledge, spares availability and external technical service.**:

- ** Keeps equipment operational by coordinating calibration, maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service when needed.**:
**_ QUALIFICATIONS _**
- **Technical Degree in Production & process, Electronics Electromechanics or other related fields.**:

- ** Cursing an Engineering related career (at least 40%credits completed) Industrial, Electronics, Electromechanical, Electromedicine or other related fields.**:

- ** Basic English level I Required**:
**_ EXPERIENCE_**
- ** 2 YEARS**:

- ** Proven experience related to Technical roles or bachelor's degree in Engineering with low experience**:

- ** Computer software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)**:

- ** Engineering or Manufacturing process knowledge. Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques.**:

- ** Technical Criteria for defect recognition interpreting the technical specifications, adverse trend identification and potential.**:

- ** Knowledge in control chart interpretation and decision making based on basic statistics tools.**:

- ** Previously experience in properly nonconformance identification thru data gathering.**:

- ** Knowledge of RCA with Engineering Tools (A-3) and experienceanalizing and solving problems from basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts oriented to keep the line running (DMAIC, A3's).**:
**_ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS_**
- ** Infinity QS, SAP, Minitab or JMP**:

- ** Reliability Engineering Basic testing catheter system experience is considered as a plus**:

- ** Procedures Change Process experience is considered as a plus (Doc Change)**:

- ** Proven experience in Problem Solving & Technical writing.**:
