**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**Responsabilities**:
Work as a Backend developer of an global agile scrum team, participate in ongoing Sprint activity to deliver on assigned story development/test work.

Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to team members

Design and plan required quality assurance tests over a variety of technologies and environments

Collaborate with worldwide teams in order to ensure a successful delivery and resolve any technical issues

Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 3 years of experience in commercial software development using Agile methodologies
- 3 years of experience developing software in Python along with writing unit tests and integration tests (familiar with Python test frameworks and pytest)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: Experience with DB schema design, Object-Relational Mapping and REST API development.
- Familiar with git and git workflows and CD/CI tools, e.g. Jenkins, Travis.
- English Fluent (verbal and written)
- Self-driven with attention to detail and quality

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Machine learning a strong plus
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible; experience with IBM Cloud service, RedHat OpenShift is a plus.
