**Your Background Includes**:

- Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS Protocols
- 3 years of experience in the field of networking/network security
- Very good knowledge of network security technologies such as firewalls (Check Point, Juniper, Cisco), F5 BIG-IP LTM, IPSEC VPNs, and Proxy Technologies
- Good knowledge of Network Security concepts
- Good knowledge of Linux and scripting
- Good knowledge of computer networking (Certification is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and under time and workload pressure
- Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders to understand
- Excellent communication, prioritization and organization skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English

**Your Day**
**To**
**Day Responsibilities Include**:

- Support Telecom Operation departments in the delivery of properly engineered network connectivity solutions between DPDHL and 3rd parties. You will be the technical lead who will escalate and resolve critical technical issues. You will also provide knowledge transfer to less senior technical associates
- Provide problem solving and support for all intranet/internet Telecommunication services and liaising with appropriate external vendors to ensure all Telecommunication services are maintained and operated to set service levels
- Provide project support, technical consultancy, and implementation of network connectivity solutions into the existing infrastructure
- Gather customer requests and manage end-to-end delivery of the solution
- Provide troubleshooting and support for intranet/internet telecommunication services and liaising with stakeholders to ensure services are delivered within SLAs
- Ensure all solutions implemented follow the agreed standards
- Recommend new security services and subsequent implementation into the infrastructure, ensuring minimum disruption and impact to the business
- Stay abreast of current technological trends, identifying technologies and products consistent with global standards that can provide commercial benefit to the organization
