**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and lead the conversion to a lean manufacturing organization driving the implementation of lean methodology such as Value Stream Management, 6S, TPM, Quality and other lean initiatives to obtain savings in processes, minimizing downtime, reducing waste, and making operations more efficient. You will work closely with the Director of Manufacturing to identify the areas in which projects will be focused and define the order of priorities. This position reports to the General Manager and VP of Operations

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Lead the implementation of continuous improvement methodology.
- Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping
- Responsible for conducting, managing and leading time study efforts.
- Review, monitor and develop manufacturing processes and their control systems to maximize efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications**
- BS in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical or Manufacturing and an expert in Lean Manufacturing
- 5 to 8 years of experience leading Lean Manufacturing Projects
- Fully Bilingual English/Spanish
- Manufacturing experience within an ISO9001 certified company
- Experience with new product development, scale-up, and sustaining engineering
- Proficiency with different technical software including Microsoft Office products.
