Job description
**Responsibilities**:
Work with Engineering, Product Management, and other cross functional teams to define requirements for system level code that can be used by our software and appliance products. Examples are product licensing, system configuration, encryption, authentication, and monitoring.
Deliver the required functionality by either deploying third party solutions or implementing new ones, primarily in Java.
**Requirements**:
- 4 years of direct experience with Functional testing of Enterprise-class software products, preferably in Java- 4 years of experience in software automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Silk Test, QF-Test, Load Runner, etc.- Experience in using management tools such as JIRA, HP QC/ALM, Perforce, ANT, Hudson, etc.- Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating Systems- Strong Experience in creating test plans, detailed test cases, and test schedules- Strong networking protocols understand and experience working with network entities- Organized and process oriented individual with ability to maintain excellent process/testing documentation and reports.- Scrum and Agile experience required- Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques- Ability to establish rapport and communicate with people at all levels of an organization- Quick learner, strong analytical and problem solving skills.- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills. Ability to execute tasks with mínimal supervision- Possess the ability to be a self-driven quick learner with attention to details and quality
**Desired Experience**- 4 years of experience in at least one of the Web or Java UI automation frameworks such as Selenium- Networking and security experience in configuring network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)-
- Exposure to Core Java, good understanding of concepts like garbage collection, multithreading- Familiar with SIEM products- Security certifications (ISSEP/CISSP, CSSLLP, CEH, CSA/LPT) are a plus
**Education and Experience**- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.- Four years of hands on experience in high-performance database-centric Enterprise-class software environment, preferably in Java.- Strong verbal and written communication skills#LI-LV1
