TE Connectivity’s Engineering Managers provide leadership for cross functional engineering teams. They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.

**Responsabilidades y Deberes esenciales**:
- Gestionar proyectos que incluyen nuevos equipos de producción, mejoras de procesos y reducciones de costo así como el soporte a la introducción de nuevos productos.
- Coordinar el diseño, suministro, fabricación y calificación de herramientas, maquinaria y equipos a prueba.
- Generar y mantener rutas de productos, dibujos de procesos y costos estándar.
- Proporcionar justificaciones, implementación y validación del capital de los nuevos equipos.
- Revisar la manufactura y capacidad de los procesos de nuevos y existentes productos.
- Asegurar la implementación y sostenimiento de procesos fiables y repetibles que cumplan con los objetivos de seguridad, calidad, rendimiento y costo.
- Mejorar la eficiencia hacia la optimización del flujo del proceso, rendimiento del equipo y las mejores prácticas de manufactura.
- Desarrollar e implementar proyectos de mejora de reducción de costos y calidad.
- Asegurar la utilización de los principios de ingeniería y el rigor para resolver los retos del proceso y de diseño complejo.
- Establecer las prioridades del proyecto, una gestión efectiva de los recursos para cumplir con los objetivos del negocio y monitorear el progreso.
- Participar en el desarrollo, modificación y ejecución de las políticas del departamento.
- Se mantiene al día con los últimos procesos, tecnología y tendencias de la industria.
- Asegura presupuestos, planificación y requerimientos de calidad se cumplen
- Determina las necesidades de personal, la disciplina y terminaciones mediante la revisión de registros de asistencia y rendimiento.
- Asegura que la calidad de los servicios cumple con los requisitos de los clientes internos y externos.
- Garantiza el cumplimiento de los colaboradores con las políticas y prácticas de la empresa.
- Todas las demás funciones asignadas.

**Competencias**:

- MBA, Bachiller o Licenciado en Ingeniera
- Mínimo 10 años de experiência en Ingeniería de Manufactura con un fuerte énfasis en tecnología y procesos de alambre.(industria de dispositivos médicos preferiblemente)
- Mínimo 5 años de experiência demostrable como supervisor/gerente en un entorno de fabricación de alta tecnología.
- Deseable con conocimientos prácticos de diseño mecánico, FEA, tolerancias geométricas, metrología, control de máquinas y metalurgia deseable.
- Experiência con DFM, principios Lean/Six Sigma y diseño de experimentos.
- Altamente desarrollado en habilidades de liderazgo.
- Habilidad para mapear las tareas, priorizar y cumplir con los plazos-.
- Desarrollar, monitorear, y vivir dentro de los presupuestos, así como la demostrada habilidad para pronosticar los principales hitos.
- Debe ser experto en delegar, trabajar en equipo y direccionado hacia el rendimiento de cuentas.
- Debe ser capaz de trabajar de manera cooperativa y productiva con los demás.
- Habilidad demostrada para conducir cambios organizacionales.
- Demostrar capacidad de creación y lectura de planos de ingeniería y esquemas.
- Conocimiento de Software CAD (SolidWorks, ProEngineer, CATIA, etc.).
- Debe tener una excelente habilidad para solución de problemas y habilidades analíticas.
