About the Role

Workday is looking for a Buyer to report into the Manager of Purchasing Operations. This person will be responsible for facilitating the procurement of goods and services. Responsibilities include creating purchase requisitions, issuing PO’s, reconciling invoice discrepancies, and providing strong customer service.

This role may also include additional responsibilities including assisting with the purchasing project intake process, contract / invoice pricing validation, data cleanup, administrative tasks involving Workday contracts, or other procurement projects.

**Responsibilities**:
- Precisely follow Desktop Procedures and Procurement Policies to ensure quality and consistency- Create purchase requisitions and issues purchase orders- Partner with Accounts Payable to investigate and reconcile invoice and receiving transaction discrepancies- Engage with the internal business partners to gather required data for completion of projects or other initiatives- Provide strong customer service support to internal business partners and procurement stakeholders- Provide recommendations and help drive process improvements- Additional responsibilities may include:
- Manage procurement project intake requests-
- Facilitate the routing of contracts-
- Assist with supplier onboarding requirements-
- Contract / invoice pricing validation-
- Complete data cleanup projects and other administrative tasks involving Workday contracts, or other procurement projectsInformación sobre la función

Workday busca un Comprador que dependa del Director de Operaciones de Compras. Esta persona se encargará de facilitar la adquisición de bienes y servicios. Entre sus responsabilidades se incluyen la creación de solicitudes de compra, la emisión de órdenes de pedido, la conciliación de discrepancias en las facturas y la prestación de un sólido servicio de atención al cliente.

Este puesto también puede incluir responsabilidades adicionales, como ayudar en el proceso de admisión de proyectos de compras, validación de precios de contratos/facturas, limpieza de datos, tareas administrativas relacionadas con contratos de Workday u otros proyectos de compras.

**Responsabilidades**:
- Seguir con precisión los procedimientos de escritorio y las políticas de adquisición para garantizar la calidad y la coherencia.- Crear solicitudes de compra y emitir órdenes de compra- Colaborar con Cuentas por Pagar para investigar y conciliar las discrepancias en las facturas y en las transacciones de recepción.- Colaborar con los socios empresariales internos para recopilar los datos necesarios para la realización de proyectos u otras iniciativas.- Proporcionar un sólido servicio de atención al cliente a los socios comerciales internos y a los responsables de compras.- Proporcionar recomendaciones y ayudar a impulsar mejoras en los procesos- Las responsabilidades adicionales pueden incluir:
- Gestionar las solicitudes de admisión de proyectos de adquisición-
- Facilitar el encaminamiento de los contratos-
- Ayudar con los requisitos de incorporación de proveedores-
- Validación de precios de contratos/facturas-
- Completar proyectos de limpieza de datos y otras tareas administrativas relacionadas con contratos de Workday u otros proyectos de adquisición.About You
