Director/ Workforce Planner of Housekeeping

S Luxury Rental is a full service vacation rental company in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We have started this year, but there are already the most beautiful luxury villas from Playa Langosta to Hacienda Pinilla in our portfolio. Our idea is to offer more than a house - we bring individual and unique experiences together on the highest luxury level.
We are looking for workforce planning / management responsible for the smooth, efficient and cost-effective operation of the housekeeping department.
This is a full-time position.
You are the behind the scenes‘ organizer for a supportive work environment of our housekeeping/ maintenance team.
**The Coordinates**:
- Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality setting/ gastronomy/ housekeeping services (Luxury Hotel)
- Advanced skills in MS Applications
- Team work with a motivated and respectful attitude for a supportive work environment
- Professional Appearance with strong communication skills
- Experience in Human Resources functions (roster planning and optimization of staff coverage)
- Ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Strong attention to detail to satisfy high standard of guests request.
- Motivation and positivity to create a system to grow
**The Tasks**
Support on the creation of strategic workforce planning of our housekeeping team for optimum staff cover
- age. Planning by gathering, analyzing and integrating data, in order to effectively meet long and short-term staffing requirements.
Processes full knowledge of each member (responsibilities/skills) of the housekeeping/ maintenance team.
Works closely with the Guest Service to resolve all house discrepancies before the end of each day. Sets agendas for Housekeeping meetings. Evaluates housekeeping department employee performance. Trains and demonstrates proper work methods and procedures. Assures the most efficient and economical met
- hods of cleaning and maintaining. Insures required cleaning materials and linen are available.
Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering international leading practices’, in order to increase operational effectiveness.
