**_What Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal Health_**

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

**Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.**

**_Responsibilities_**
- Oversees administration of all assembly and production operations at a single site.
- Responsible for P&L.
- Develops and works to achieve plant specific goals and budgets.
- Manages the attainment of production goals and KPI’s including production goals, strategic initiatives, headcount and quality standard.
- Assesses the site for inefficiencies and addresses through the continuous improvement of current and potential processes, methods, etc.
- Evaluates, adjusts and manages workforce planning/ staffing levels based on customer insights, orders and site demand.
- Acts as a mentor to new and existing employees to ensure proper operation of equipment and understanding of processes and procedures.
- Ensures adherence to all quality standard operating procedures through collaboration with the quality team to identify and mitigate quality risk factors.

Qualifications_**
- 12+ years of manufacturing, supply chain or relevant experience
- BA or BS, Advanced Degree may be required
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Solid leadership skills
- Ability to work within a transformational and matrixed organization
- Medical device manufacturing experience is highly desired.
