- Position purpose: Supports the L.L.Bean front end systems, ensuring high quality standards are met through an agile software development environment. Conducts moderately complex software testing with emphasize in automation.
- This is a CR-based position. To be considered, please be aware that you must be currently authorized to work in Costa Rica._

About you:

- Education Level: Graduated or advanced student in Computer Science or
- Experience: Related field or equivalent technical experience

English level: C1 (Advanced)

Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid JavaScript programming skills along with familiarity with web developer tools- Experience on any testing automation frameworks is a plus (specially Cypress)- Experience with quality assurance along an agile SDLC methodology- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Flexible; able to adapt to changing priorities within a rapidly changing business environment- Self-managed and strong attention to detail- Strong interpersonal skills; adept at establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with peers and members of a cross-functional agile team- Graduated or advanced student in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent technical experience that can be demonstrated.

About the role:
- Creates automated test scripts using Cypress (JavaScript required)- Documents and researches test results to determine causes of bugs-
- Gathers system requirements from business analysts and tech leads, and provides feedback on quality requirements- Translates business requirements into test cases- Develops moderately complex manual test scripts, where automation is not possible- Works along with developers to effectively provide work estimates and to meet them-
- Ownership of his own workload to ensure project timelines are met (issues tracking and follow-up in JIRA, keeps everybody up to speed)- Continuously improve testing procedures and automation scripts, documentation oriented- Go to person for developers and BAs as technical issues are being addressed- Works independently and collaboratively within a team; provides regular updates to leader and peers- Participates of nightly and off-hours release in an on-call fashion
