**Your Role and Responsibilities**
You’ll work to ensure that the SRE team are providing optimal production environment support and deployment for Planning and Cognos Analytic Services.
You’ll work in an Agile, collaborative environment to help the SRE team automate, deploy, configure, and maintain systems, which may include software installations, updates, and core services.
You’ll drive incident management process and support a blameless post-mortem culture.
You’ll work with customers to help them resolve their issues or queries.
You’ll develop metrics and reports that drive improvements in the availability of Planning and Cognos Analytics services, as well as improvement in SRE team’s effectiveness.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- You have 2+ years experience with managing team of developers working on operations and automation.
- You have the ability to multi-task and solve operation issues prior to and during customer impacting events / incidents.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, including having attention to details, to communicate observations and ideas for diagnosing and preventing issues or improving SRE processes to shorten diagnosis and resolution.
- You have the ability to observe operational support techniques and make improvements to SRE processes.
- You are capable to work in a global, multicultural, and diverse environment.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Managing customer escalations
- Troubleshooting in production systems
- DevOps or SRE
- Source and project control (GitHub Enterprise, ZenHub, Jira) - hands-on
- Automation using Go, Python, C, C++, Ansible or Shell scripting
- Monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, QRadar, New Relic, sysdig, logDNA)
- Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, Terraform, TeamCity, Travis CI)
- Load balancing, geo routing, and proxying
- Networking - Firewalls and Load Balancing (Vyatta, StrongSwan)
- NoSQL databases, key-stores and other data-structure solutions (MongoDB, Redis)**About Business Unit**
