**Summary**:

- Reports to VP, Finance Operations
- Leads the Americas Shared Service Center for Finance. Direct line management responsibility for regional C2C and P2P delivery teams in Costa Rica (approx. 95-100 FTEs). In addition, the Center Head is responsible for providing Service Management and Continuous Improvement services to all other functions based in the Center. Manages a site of approx. 200-250 FTEs in total
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Overall accountability for end-to end C2C activities in the Americas region, organized through a C2C Lead managing teams whose activities include: credit analysis, collection of payments from customers across Americas, billing (& customer data management TBC)
- Direct responsibility for an Accounts Payable team covering Americas, focusing on customer contact
- Provide leadership to Center staff, including recruiting of Managers, career development and management processes
- Management of all SSC supporting processes
- Develop, design, recruit the transformed Shared Service organization
- Define and/or support process-specific operating model strategies in close alignment with Global C2C and P2P service delivery model and process design strategies
- Maintain a high-performance operating culture throughout the Center
- Ensure high compliance environment
- Lead Service Management for the Center: KPIs, SLAs, infrastructure services Monitor performance and recommend/prioritize improvements aimed at improving performance
- Responsible for utilization attainment and maximizing professional service profitability through accurate forecasting and effective management of the team.
- Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact their process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguity
- Act as a key stakeholder to foster a business-oriented culture; continuously monitor Maintain close relationships with customer/stakeholder groups that ensure a responsiveness to their needs and escalation to resolution of internal performance problems.
- Manage supply of support services to demand (including load balancing across functions and capacity adjustments due to new business and closure of existing businesses)
- Embedding a strong focus on cost reduction, service excellence and continuous improvement for all of the services delivered by his/her organization using benchmarks and best practice comparisons
- Leverage expertise from the C2C and AP Global Process Owners as well as data & analytics from the Global Center
- Drive change & continuous improvement in the Shared Services team, including standardization of processes & practices across business units, development of an effective performance culture & implementation systems
- Establish program priorities that yield maximum benefits or process improvements and oversee the timely implementation of those
- Support change, risk and communications management around the improvement projects underway and planned
- Advocate for automation and technology improvements and partner with IT to implement or improve existing technologies for additional productivity improvement

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, business or accounting
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Experience running Finance & Accounting processes
- Broad financial management experience with proven abilities to manage a large staff
- 10+ years experience in SSC or similar managerial role in a global and fast-paced organization
- Management experience in large multi-national organization
