Audiovisual Architect Designer

The Audiovisual Designer / Architect will be responsible for the development, implementation, and installation of audiovisual systems. Will be also responsible for all design aspects of the project, including layout and various audio/visual specifications. The incumbent will be responsible for researching and implementing new software, as well as technological developments to improve various aspects of the project. Also, is responsible for measuring strategic KPIs. The incumbent will also collaborate with OpCos to bring innovative solutions to customers, differentiate their offerings, and grow their business.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage audiovisual projects from planning stages to completion.
- Install, configure, and deliver audiovisual projects as contracted.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding solutions to potential project risks and issues.
- Test and troubleshoot audiovisual systems to ensure they work before job completion.
- Establish project schedules and deadlines to ensure they are realistic and attainable.
- Proven ability to lead virtual teams in a complex but efficient, flexible, and innovative matrix organizational culture.
- Performs other related duties that will be managed by the PM as assigned.
- Works with customer to analyze each project regarding the design steps.
- Be the main point of contact for the Technical design and details of the solution for the LATAM Region.

**QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)**

Requires 4-year college degree or equivalent, preferable in a Technology related field.

Demonstrated successful track record as Audio Visual Engineer.

7+ years proven capability and experience in working with Audio Visual industry, unified communications, Video Collaboration, and video conference.

Good understanding and experience of designing and selling audio visual services and solutions. Certifications in Avixa, Kramer, Crestron, Extron, a plus

Bilingual English and SpanishKnowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.

Able to travel to Latin America Countries.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
Must possess excellent Audiovisual engineer acumen skill set.

Must be able to create designs to solve the customer needs.

Knowledge in some of the following brands, a plus: Logi, Poly, Lenovo, Biamp, Shure, Cisco, etc.

Facilitation skills are required and ability to gain consensus in decision-making.

Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives.

Possess superior communication skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are important since they work in conjunction with other staff members constantly.
