**Job Function Summary**:
This person will provide support in all the maintenance activities of the Server Room, like, rack cleaning, arrange/install/replace/punching/labeling of network cables, also will provide support on the maintenance tasks of the printers, inventory control and regular maintenance IT tasks like repair and maintenance of IT equipment, replace of damage components, and regular cellphones support tasks like cover replacement and protective glass replacement.

The IT technician will handle all hardware tasks of the IT area like, installation, configuration and replacement of TV screens, projectors, replacement of projector lamps, installation/replacement of HDMI/Network cables, and all hardware related tasks.

Also, this person will configure and provide basic support to the users of the Handhelds, will provide support on the production panel-views, kiosks, and leak-testers (computers + screens) of the production area, will provide support in the maintenance tasks of the OT production equipment including network cable, computers maintenance, KVM support and HMI.

This person will support in the creation of documentation for related IT/OT tasks and will install, configure and support the ESR software and hardware.

**Major Areas of Accountability**:

- Support on the maintence tasks of the computers and necessary peripherical devices (printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Repair and/or replace damaged parts
- Installation of network cables.
- Support in the maintenance taks of the local servers
- Support in the maintenance of production/admin printers
- Day to day support for users in Costa Rica, creating and solving cases in Global IT Service Management tool
- Conducting frequently monitoring of POB cases ans self assign those who are related to his/her job description.
- Install and configure computers and other end-users when needed.
- Follow the Global IT standards, guidelines and policies.
- Support on the IT infrastructure
- Communicate relevant IT/OT information to the local IT/OT engineers
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
- Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
- Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
- Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Electronic / computer / mechanical student who has advanced knowledge in windows, networks, computer technical support.
- Support to production users and production machines, knowledge in structured cabling, user management in the OT domain.
- Have a professional and open-minded approach when collaborating in all levels within the organization and across business units
- Responsive, results-oriented, self-managed, systematic and structured
- Strong service orientation
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken
- Adheres to Global IT procedures, guidelines and policies
- Service minded - the ability to provide "that little extra”

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Understanding of computer systems and networks
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
- IT student or IT related knowledge is required.
- Service oriented, flexible in work approach and comfortable working in a growing, dynamic, and demanding organisation
- Good communication skills, communicate effectively with colleagues, local business, and external parties
