**Job Description**:
Experian Automotive is looking for a highly motivated software development leader that can thrive in fast paced agile environment. You will be leading agile development team(s) that deliver a diverse product portfolio. You will work closely with product managers, scrum master, developers, and sales to manage deliverables that align with organization’s strategy. We also seek a person with vast knowledge of modern/AWS technology and strong leadership to champion the innovation required for the growth of the business.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- Lead multinational engineering scrum team(s) to drive development of high-quality software products that enable business to achieve strategic objectives.
- Partner with product management & customer deliverable teams to build shared goals.
- Work effectively with members of cross-functional product development teams including Product Managers, Architects, Scrum master’s and Analysts on various sized projects and initiatives.
- Move fluidly from the big picture to details and lead the engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
- Estimate timelines for both long-term roadmap initiatives and short-term deliverables.
- Establish and enforce best practices in code control, code reviews, unit testing, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
- Assess existing solutions and identify opportunities for automation and upgrading technology platform
- Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively.
- Play an integral role in making sure that software products are developed in accordance with company’s risk, security, and architecture guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline is desired.
- 8+ years of overall technology experience; developer background is a must.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience leading development teams with direct reports
- Hands on experience of JAVA/J2EE, Spring Boot, Bitbucket/GIT, JS framework (React and/or Node)
- Hands on experience of server-side REST/JSON API development
- Hands on experience with AWS cloud (AWS Serverless preferred)
- Knowledge of a broad range of both commercial and opensource solutions/tools - React/Vue.JS, KAFKA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Unix shell.
- Experience in Cloud migration projects and implementing solutions leveraging AWS (serverless preferred) capabilities and Infrastructure as Code/SAM (Kubernetes, Observability, CI/CD).
- AWS certification preferred.
- 3+ years of Agile Methodology/Scrum experience required.
- 3+ years of strong technical leadership/people management in a high-performing technology company.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of technology
- Experience in preparing materials and presenting to wider audiences, translating technologies into products.
- Proven success in developing teams to deliver and demonstrated engineering excellence.
- Secure development mindset with proven track record.
- Comfortable and experienced communications with clients and senior management
