Junior Frontend Developer

We are currently seeking a Junior FrontEnd Developer to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

**Position overview**

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing HTML and CMS solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help our customers accelerate business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.

**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:

- Develop Web Page/Interfaces using different technologies.
- Develop solutions on Content Management systems like SharePoint or Confluence.
- Troubleshoot any issues with the developed web pages or content.
- Provide insight to different teams on best practices to show and present information to internal customers.

**Qualifications**

**Must have Skills**:

- Knowledge in foundations of Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Capability to develop solution in Content Management Systems like Share Point or Confluence
- Familiarity with the Web Design and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Engagement to efforts related to improve UX in the creation of products.
- The person in this position should be capable of communicating ideas and requirements in a professional manner.
- Being able to collaborate in interdisciplinary projects, learning about different technologies according to projects requirements.
- Willing to work with different tools specially related to intranet service clients like marketplaces, chatbots, technical support, wikis, among others.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

**Nice to have, but not required**:

- Understand the principles of responsive web design.
- Preferred to have proved experience developing in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, Bulma, or other.
- Experience with React libraries, Angular and jQuery framework, or similar is also considered.
- Familiar to working with Version controllers such as GIT.
- Development languages might be considered PHP, Java, C#, or Python
- Familiar with the integration of Web technology and different databases systems MSSQL, Sybase, and Postgres

**Education Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience)
