**_Business/ Department Objectives:_**

The Global Process & Stakeholder Management (GPSM) function within Finance Risk Shared Services (FRSS) is responsible for partnering with the Global Process Owners in Finance to transform the end-to-end Global Operating Model for all Financial Books and Records processes, platforms, and results.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will be part of a strategic team dedicated to support and understand the new system architecture around key Oracle Cloud concepts and its functionalities. This lead will be responsible to understand Key Concepts of the NEW Oracle Cloud standard functionality by using PwC’s Model System and will actively participate on the design discussions on leading practices and strategies around the implementation of Oracle modules in our current Close & Consolidation process.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will be partnering with Controller Transformation, FTO, PwC and other relevant process SME’s to design and implement the target state of our global process in the NEW ORACLE architecture including its governance and operating model, ensuring standardized, efficient well-controlled processes that will support the integrity and control of Citi’s Financial Reporting Processes owned by the Citi Controller.

**_ Core Responsibilities:_***

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will have a leadership role in the understanding of ORACLE Components Definition and Capabilities, its corresponding functionality within Citi Business Structure and the foundational design of the Oracle Enterprise structures.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will be responsible for development of specific action item plans and coordination with GPSM Process Leads and Reporting Operations, updating of key resource materials and implementation of critical changes to operational procedures, and governance documentation.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will have an active participation in working group sessions, strategy planning and various reviews sessions to identify and facilitate creation of detailed action plans and commitments to accomplish Strategic Ledger targets.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will participate in cross functional working groups among Data, Infrastructure, Process and Governance standardization for key reporting functions, including Books & Records, Reporting and Data.

The Strategic Ledger Close & Consolidation Lead will be responsible for updating various project plans and key milestones related to the Strategic Ledger Implementation and will be responsible to provide regular updates and status to the GPSM and Reporting Operations Managers and SLT’s about the progress of the project.

**_ Day-to-Day Responsibilities:_***

Actively participate on the close and consolidation POD (Workstream).

Review the daily project plans and key milestones.

Escalate potential issues identified in working group sessions.

Liaise with members of Strategic Ledger Groups, GPSM Process Leads, Reporting Operations and Controller Transformations to ensure the project plans and action items are up to date and published to stakeholders.

Participate in the production of updated operational procedures and control documentation.

Coordinate with members of the various Reporting Operations functions to identify ways to streamline and implement action plans in order to create more accurate and timely results, as well as improving efficiency.

Maintain constant dialog with PwC, GPSM, Reporting Operations and Project LEADS to highlight issues with the overall Oracle NEW Architecture implementation plans.

Understand and evaluate the implications of the changes proposed by the Strategic Ledger POD’s (working group) and capture the impact of same for communication and transition with Reporting Operations.

Interface with other finance and corporate functional leads for operational execution and interaction/ engagement resulting from proposed changes to Target Operating Model.

Be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive approach to all control programs and developing a sound and robust control environment.

**_ Qualifications:_***

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Advanced English level

Strong background in one or more of the Reporting Operations disciplines or areas of Finance and Accounting.

8+ years of relevant experience in Financial Books and Records Data Services.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft, Tableau and ORACLE Cloud financial Service Applications.

SCRUM or equivalent agile PM Certification.

Proven skills in leadership, strategic planning, project management and organizational structure.

Experience in managing complex projects and professionals across business lines and cultures.

English professional communication proficiency for both, written and spoken.
