**Job Function Summary**:
The Production Supervisor supports and ensures the success of the manufacturing lines and its employees. This position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the weekly output goals, improving processes and developing employees through training and other opportunities. This position is highly visible and requires a leadership style with regular presence in the areas of responsibility as well as other departments.

**Major Areas of Accountability**:

- People management responsibilities for the manufacturing floor.
- Gather and analyze data and make recommendations on improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Utilize Lean principles for making improvements.
- Work with Planner on build plan adherence to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with supply chain, warehouse, and materials on inventory accuracy.
- Partner with other departments on production requirements for project support.
- Responsible for PDPs/Reviews for staff.
- Partner with engineering and R&D on trouble shooting equipment/processes issues.
- Work with finance on identification of adjustments to work order/inventory/improvement opportunities.
- Assist Leads and direct reports in analyzing and resolving work problems.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment and projects.
- Interpret company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Establish or adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.
- Responsible for the creation of Job descriptions and Training plans of all direct reports
- Responsible to request all necessary accesses and specific roles to Coloplast systems for direct reports
- Any additional tasks requested by the direct leader
- Other duties as assigned.
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
- Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
- Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
- Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position

**Responsibility and authority**:
**Responsible for the following within their area**:

- Implementation of requirements in the corporate quality system
- Clearly defining responsibilities and authority for relevant activities described in the quality system.
- Ensure awareness of the Quality policy
- Ensure awareness of their contribution to the effectiveness of the Quality system and the benefits of improved performance
- Ensure awareness of implications for not conforming with Quality requirements
- The identification of needs and preparation of instructions, where necessary.
- Ensuring that the required resources and competences are available.
- Taking action if requirements from the quality system and/or regulatory requirements are not complied with.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.)
- English level b2
- Minimum three years related experience and/or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Work experience in FDA or regulated industry.
- Experience working with inventory management systems.
- Experience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques. Certification on Lean or Six Sigma is desirable.
- Experience with MES or other system to track and analyze production operations.

Preferred qualifications
- General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience working with inventory management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Must be flexible with work schedule.
- Proficient on capacity analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop staff.
- Change facilitation/Lean transformations.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems)
- Knowledge of PowerBI.
