System/platform Validation Engineer

We are currently searching for an energetic and passionate System/Platform Validation Engineer to work on a project team delivering System-wide telemetry for Intel Platforms. As our systems grow in complexity with higher levels of IP integration, there is a strong demand for collecting system wide telemetry that can be used to learn / debug and ultimately deliver Best-in-Class experiences on our platforms. Our ability to collect and analyze deep telemetry data from our platforms will serve as a competitive advantage and keep us one step ahead of the competition. The engineer will help ensure our software solution meets critical system ingredient milestones across the continuum of pre-silicon to post-silicon reference platforms. Working closely with platform architects, internal engineering team members and key partners across divisions.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- System Verification, creating and running scripts, workloads and benchmarks, collecting data logs
- 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python
- Hardware setup (platforms configuration, systems debug, BIOS setup, firmware update)
- Advanced English Level
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Good understanding of Operating System and OS Device drivers
- Hands-on validation and platform debug experience of Windows Drivers.
- Familiarity with Power Management at a system software level
- Experience with Windows driver debugging with WinDbg
- Unit Testing Test Driven Development in C/C++
- Be able to demonstrate OS kernel knowledge with Windows, familiar with Software/Hardware testing and tools such as JTAG/ITP and Kernel debugger.

**Work Model for this Role**
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
