**Job description**:
The Cybersecurity & SOC Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals in the protection of the organization’s data & assets. This currently includes leading the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), threat hunting, red teaming, and cybersecurity automation teams. The manager will work closely with other teams and leaders within the organization to ensure that the company’s cybersecurity strategy aligns with the overall business objectives. The manager will provide guidance and coaching to cybersecurity personnel that work at the site. In some cases, these resources my be directly reporting to other Leaders within Stryker’s overall Cybersecurity department.

**What you will do**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the SOC and ensure that the team is providing timely and effective detection and response to cybersecurity incidents.
- Lead the threat hunting, red teaming, and cybersecurity automation teams and ensure that they are effectively identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
- Work closely with other teams within the organization, such as IT and engineering, to ensure that the company’s cybersecurity strategy aligns with the overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the SOC and other cybersecurity teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats and adapt the company’s cybersecurity strategy accordingly.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of the company’s cybersecurity program.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to effectively protect the organization’s information assets.
- Manage shift schedules & time cards for the SOC and other cybersecurity team members
- Other duties as assigned

**What you need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC, or CISA are preferred.

**Qualifications & experience**:

- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience managing cybersecurity and IT teams.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with incident response, threat hunting, red teaming, and cybersecurity automation.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
