**Accountant I / General Ledger Maintenance, Global Business Services**

**About the role**:
Provide finance and accounting technical knowledge and execution to GBS and Financial Department in one or more of the following areas: General Ledger Maintenance, payroll, general accounting, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable

**You're Responsibilities include**:

- Provide technical support to GBS and Financial Department globally in the maintenance of balance sheet & P&L master data in SAP and Cadency, which includes account extension, account blocking/unblocking, account creation, open items management, and other master data changes.
- Preparing annual and monthly reports.
- Adhere to existing internal controls, SOX requirements, and compliance.
- Creation and maintenance of DTPs/SOPs.
- Support and work together with Project Magellan resources as part of overall program upgrade including testing and process updates.
- Support and work together on GBS process improvement projects.
- Involvement in several projects simultaneously.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree, active student or equivalent (Accounting, Business Adm., Economics or related field).
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience.
- SAP experience required.
- Cadency experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- English level: 80% or above.
- Proficient working with Microsoft Excel. Macro experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
- Experience working in shared service environment is a plus.
- Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
