We are looking for a talented MARKETING SPECIALIST to join our team specializing in MARKETING for our DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS in SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA. (La Uruca, 100 metros al norte de la Agencia KIA, San Jose).
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Visits to clients nationwide along with the Commercial Manager and Valvoline Representative (current clients, potential clients) to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Responsible for the control and budget of marketing, expense projection, execution of the budget as planned, and liquidation.
- Execution of the marketing plan: promotions, control of gallonage purchase vs. MKT budget, prospecting with new clients.
- Follow-up on the implementation of the media plan (execution of communication to clients through digital media, ATL, and BTL).
- Create and deliver reports on executions and budget control to the commercial area and Valvoline, as well as make executive presentations.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- University Degree in Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field. A Master's degree is desirable.
- Solid experience in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Budget Management, and Trade Marketing (BTL) activities.
- Experience in data management and analysis, intermediate Excel skills.
- Availability for visits outside La Gran Area Metropolitana and tours, 40% per year.
- A valid driver's license is required; you will use a departmental car for client visits.
- Advanced English.
- Ideal experience in the lubricants, automotive, or consumer goods sector.
