**_What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
**_Job Summary_**
The Senior Associate Assembly works on the manufacturing production line and is responsible for the successful assembly of products using commonly used concepts, processes and procedures. This job serves as the Team Captain and ensures that the line is meeting all necessary production, safety and quality requirements. The Senior Associate Assembly monitors single line operations and promptly escalates issues to necessary parties. This job ensures consistent workflow of the manufacturing line and is responsible for QRA compliance and team member training.
**_Responsibilities_**
- Maintains accurate daily assembly production records and inputs data into the manufacturing performance analysis system.
- Ensures efficient manufacturing line workflow including station staffing and line turnover.
- Operates machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line.
- Escalates line compliance issues to supervisors to ensure appropriate handling and resolution.
- Monitors and is held responsible for individual and team line safety compliance.
- Trains new team members using standardized training processes to ensure understanding of responsibilities and safety standards.

Qualifications_**
- 2-4 years of experience
- High School Diploma or GED

- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

- Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
- May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
