Job Purpose

The Emerigng Markets & China ME Evidence Generation Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the execution of the evidence generation pathways to provide scientific data to our stakeholders in the region. This position will partner with the Real World Expert in the region to coordinate the implementation of the regional strategy across all categories

This position will serve as a single point of contact for the execution of evidence generation, including Real World Data, for Medical Affairs colleagues in the region of accountability. As the single point of contact for internal stakeholders including Real World Evidence Leads, Clinical Leads and WMS NIS Operations they will need to have strong organizational and communication capabilities to ensure work execution and communication to the leadership team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the single point of contact for country and regional colleagues for evidence generation in their region
- Ability to drive the evidence generation process from end to end to ensure project deliverables are met
- Must have a strong understanding of the evidence generation pathway including Non Interventional Studies and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders this information
- Responsible for communication of the project status to key stakeholders
- Coordinate cross functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Be able to identify appropriate pathways and necessary resources (including budget) for each evidence generation pathway
- Ensure issue escalation and appropriate resolution of identified risks
- Ensure study team and stakeholders are informed of progress against goals, major study risks/opportunities and corresponding contingency/mitigation plans
- Work with the leaders of the region to create appropriate metrics on a monthly basis to report on the efficiencies of the process and communicate them to key stakeholders including project owners and leadership

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Works closely with EM Medical Excellence Manger, EM RWE Team and WMS centralized team
- Partners with the EM Medical Country and Regional Teams
- Collaborates across functional lines including, but not limited to: Study managers, Business Operations, MQG, Clinical Pharmacology, Statistics, Regulatory and Safety, Finance and Procurement, Legal, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Functional Service Providers (FSPs)
- Strong partnership with NIS working group members to follow the continuous improvement of processes, tools, reports, and systems.

RESOURCES MANAGED
- Financial Accountability_

Ability to create, manage and report budget actuals are required
- Supervision_

This position has no direct reports.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience
- Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position.
- Bachelor degree on relevant area required, Advance degree (MBA, Msc) desired.
- 3 + of experience supporting studies or projects in pharmaceutical or clinical research environment
- Working knowledge of monitoring, clinical and regulatory operations
- A good understanding of medical affairs nature of work projects and research

Prior Experience Preferred:

- Demonstrated study management / leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing vendor & ancillary, and monitoring costs projections & spend
- Understands how to work with vendors to accomplish tasks
- Ability to interpret study level data & translate and identify risks
- Ability to proactively identify & mitigate risks around site level in study execution
- Understands feasibility of protocol implementation
- Country level cultural awareness and strong interpersonal skills
- Keen problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented & possesses technical expertise (e.g., spreadsheets, metrics & data flow management)
- Basic computer and productivity software (eg, spreadsheets, word processing, presentation preparation) skills and ability to perform complex analytical, visualization and results presentation development-related tasks
