The Dispatch Coordinator will be an integral part of a best-in-class employee commute program for a large corporate client. The Dispatch team is located in Nashville, TN and supports shuttle operations for a large corporate campus in the Puget Sound region as well as other sizeable operations in the SF Bay Area, Southern CA, Boston, and Washington DC regions. This position will work closely with internal team members and other stakeholders to manage all front-line communications related to the employee shuttle program, contributing to the program’s overall goal of providing a world-class shuttle experience for employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop communication best practices for effectively communicating shuttle options to employees.
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on commute modes available to employees.
Respond to high-visibility escalations in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Think critically and develop process improvements that help drive continuous program improvement.
Develop and maintain comprehensive, accurate, and coherent intranet content and other communications.
Develop an understanding of Tripshot and other transportation management platforms and ensure content integration with client systems and platforms.
Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track critical shuttle program data, and make recommendations based on that data.
Partner with shuttle vendor teams to solve real-time shuttle challenges and ensure a cohesive experience for shuttle riders.
Lead and develop elements of an employee engagement program, including developing and disseminating service change announcements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Enthusiasm for / interest in sustainable transportation
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Sustainability, or a related field
Experience working in a corporate environment where relevant skills can be demonstrated, which could include internships or coursework
Experience in a customer service role preferred
Demonstrated ability to draft timely, clear and professional communications
Excellent client / customer service skills and experience working in a corporate customer service environment
Ability to proactively identify process and program improvements and make recommendations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to lead short but effective meetings
Ability to communicate with and influence senior management

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires general knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
