**Propósito general del puesto**:
El “Accounting Analyst I” juega un rol importante en el departamento de “Record to Report”, ya que tiene como objetivo llevar a cabo las actividades contables generales, como el cierre de mes y fin de trimestre, Intercompany, activos fijos, conciliaciones de cuentas de balance, se deben cumplir en el tiempo establecido y con calidad con el fin de lograr los objetivos de Thermo Fisher Scientific.
La posición es responsable de identificar discrepancias y proponer soluciones, mediante el análisis detallado de cada situación, así como velar por el mejoramiento continuo del proceso.

**Principales Responsabilidades**:

- Realizar las actividades contables generales, incluidas las de Intercompany, activos fijos y GL para realizar las conciliaciones al cierre de mes.
- Procesar las facturas de cuentas por pagar y por cobrar, ingresando la información requerida en el sistema establecido para Intercompany.
- Registrar los pagos de las cuentas por cobrar, analizando los estados bancarios para identificar las facturas que fueron pagadas y cerrarlas en el sistema establecido para Intercompany.
- Brindar a tesorería el reporte mensual para que puedan proceder a realizar el pago de las facturas y solicitar al departamento de cuentas por cobrar el debido cierre de las facturas en el sistema.
- Realizar las reconciliaciones de las cuentas por pagar y por cobrar, analizando la información de las facturas contra reportes generados por medio del sistema y estados de cuenta bancarios.

Realizar reconciliaciones de cuentas de balance en el sistema establecido y asegurar que la información se ingrese de acuerdo con las políticas de reconciliación de cuentas de balance.
- Garantizar que toda la información de reconciliaciones se ingrese en el sistema establecido, con su debido respaldo para dar visibilidad de los movimientos que se realizaron durante el mes.
- Efectuar el cálculo de provisiones de los gastos que no se registraron antes del periodo de cierre, y deben registrarse en el siguiente mes.
- Solicitar las aprobaciones necesarias a los supervisores para realizar el correcto ingreso de entradas manuales en el sistema.
- Analizar la información contable con el fin de resolver discrepancias que se puedan presentar e identificar la causa raíz para evitar situaciones similares.
- Atender consultas de clientes internos o externos relacionados a la información contable.
- Apoyar en el proceso de auditorías internas y externas, manteniendo los controles de los procedimientos operativos completos y correctos, así como brindar la información solicitada.
- Mantener el involucramiento y la comunicación por medio de telefono, correo electrónico, chat o cualquier otro medio con los clientes internos y externos implicados en los procesos.
- Identificar oportunidades de optimización y mejora continua de los procesos relacionados con el departamento, para establecer nuevas estrategias y aplicar mejores prácticas.
- Apoyar a supervisores y gerencia en la implementación de las estrategias y los lineamientos establecidos.
- Brindar soporte y realizar cualquier otra solicitud que se requiera por necesidad de la empresa.

**Requisitos Básicos (indispensables)**:

- Estudiante avanzado de bachillerato universitario en Administración de Empresas, Contabilidad, Economía o afín al puesto.
- 3 - 4 años de experiência en el área.
- Experiência en Shared Service Centers.
- Nível de ingles B2+.
- MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel intermedio.
- Experiência en al menos un ERP (SAP, Oracle, JDEdwards y/o Mainframe).
