**What are we looking for?**

The primary role of the Data Engineer is to support and expand the Data & Analytics platforms that process, store, organize the data critical for clients. This role will have expertise in data movement and database technologies that support data analytics and ML/AI capabilities. This person will work collaboratively with Shared Services/Cloud teams, offshore developers, and business users to solve business problems and deliver
solutions.

Develop BQ views per business requirements and best practices. Perform data mapping
with source systems. Ensure on time delivery of project work solve technical issues and provide quick resolution. Should have advanced SQL programming experience with GCP BQ or similar.

**What are the responsibilities for this role?**
- Develop views/Tables/Schemas per business requirements and best practices.
- Perform data mapping with source systems.
- Python scripting for Batch jobs and cloud functions.
- Work closely with Product Owners on creating estimates/designs and realizing business value.
- Significant experience delivering Data solutions using the cloud stack and demonstrated
experience building scalable data models & integrations with a variety of systems including Enterprise Applications.
- Maintain controls to monitor cloud operations and data quality.
- Solve a variety of complex analytical challenges for internal stakeholders, sometimes
balancing and prioritizing multiple projects at a time.
- Support project teams and executives with their analytics work in a “consultancy /
expert” capacity using best practices related to data & analytics engineering.
- Collect requirements, scope, implement, and assess changes to the company data model
and suite of cloud tools that support it.
- Build custom data pipelines and management tools.
- Deploy changes to custom data infrastructure including database schemas and scheduled jobs.
- Ensure on time delivery of project work solve technical issues and provide quick
resolution.

**Qualifications for this role?**

Must **have**
- Strong _verbal and written communication skills in ENGLISH._
- Preferred B2/C1 English _
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science/information systems, or any related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in IT, specific to data management, analytics, or data reporting.
- Expert working knowledge of SQL, Python.
- Strong PL/SQL development experience required.
- Understanding of dimensional data modelling.
- Demonstrated expertise of database design and modelling.
- Experience in AWS/GCP/ Azure. Preferred GCP.
- Experience working with GCP Airflow/ AWS Glue or similar.
- Exposure to enterprise data lifecycle and cloud solutions.
- Experience with database design concepts.
- Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools.
- Worked on Projects involving Data Lake - Build and setup at the enterprise level.

Good **to Have**

1. Experience and exposure to US health care and Life science

2. Exposure working with US Clients

3. Experience working in large scale data warehouse projects required

4. Knowledge of Visualization tools like Power BI/ Tableau

5. GCP Look ML
