**About the role**:
The incumbent must ensure that testing is thoroughly defined, planned, documented, and executed, by meticulously examining each phase and feature of the software solution, identifying, and resolving potential issues before releasing to production.

**Essential duties and job responsibilities**:

- Assume responsibility for developing and executing software testing strategies and methodologies to establish optimal quality assurance best practices.
- Employ diverse testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing, to execute testing effectively.
- Manually test the system's new ongoing development while simultaneously creating new automated tests to facilitate automated testing in the future.
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and execute extensive test plans, scenarios, and cases that encompass various test types, such as functional, integration, certification, acceptance, system, regression, smoke, performance, stress, sanity, end-to-end, and load tests.
- Collaborate directly with Engineering, and DevOps team members to construct and maintain efficient automated testing pipelines, as part of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Collaborate with developers to guarantee the software development process undergoes an appropriate level of testing.
- Perform and document the outcomes of test runs, both manual and automated, and communicate those results to the engineering team(s) and engineering management for appropriate resolution.
- Ensure conformity to standardized quality assurance policies, processes, and documentation standards.
- Contribute to the creation of product release notes and overall product documentation.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience with Javascript and NodeJS.
- Bring 3+ years of experience working for a software development company that specializes in Software as a Service (SaaS) products, with an extensive track record in creating from scratch comprehensive test strategies, selecting appropriate tools, and building automation frameworks.
- Exhibit hands-on experience with integrating test automation frameworks into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, while maintaining a strong understanding of quality assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to write SQL queries for the purpose of verifying test cases and data validation and having a comprehensive understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Excellent communication skills (C1).
