We are currently seeking a Middleware Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

**Position overview**

**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:

- Build and Maintain WebLogic/Tomcat/Apache web servers.
- Installing and maintaining SSL certificates on to the Web and Application servers.
- Participate in shift supporting off hours and weekend activity (this is a rotating assignment shared with other members of the team, as necessary).
- Develop and maintain Unix scripts supporting the system administration function.

**Qualifications**

**Must have Skills**:

- Overall IT Experience 4-5 years
- 2+ years of WebLogic/Tomcat administration.
- 2+ years of Operations and Support Experience
- 1+ years of Ansible and Automation
- Strong Problem solving, and analysis skills required.

**Nice to have**:

- Java Development experience is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS.
- Exposure to Ping Identity/F5.
- Exposure to technologies like MuleSoft, MQ, OpenShift, Docker.
- Experience with any code deployment tools (UCD, AWS Deploy, CloudBees, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of DevOps Tools.

**Education Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
