**Role Profile**

The Strategy & Operational Excellence Team is the backbone of the ONEProcurement organization and is responsible for driving performance, risk & compliance, commercial strategy, portfolio & productivity, and people & supplier performance globally across the procurement function. As part of this team you will be instrumental in translating key Procurement data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Procurement is making great steps towards building a single source of data, that can enable us to drive automated reporting, generate actionable insights from data, and explore more advanced capabilities such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.

As a Senior Business Analyst within the team, you will lead interactions with colleagues across the function to understand how we can partner to generate value through deeper category, supplier, and spend insights derived from the Procurement centralized data platform. Additionally, this role will drive the analysis of various data sources to support improvements in business outcomes through the identification, analysis, and interpretation of trends and patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations to aid in complex data storytelling. You will perform data analytics tasks to support category excellence, drive improved business decision-making capabilities, prevent supply chain risks, and identify opportunities to create additional value.

As we mature our data journey, you will be expected to produce quality insights which take a holistic overview of the market across the whole value chain and an in-depth assessment of the competitive environment to support strategy development and decision-making processes.

**Responsibilities to include**:

- Assist the existing Commercial and Strategic Intelligence team to identify the competitive actionable insights needed within different regions and categories and ensuring fast and efficient dissemination of high-quality data on global/regional level
- Lead interactions across the network in order to coordinate the translation of business problems into the appropriate analytics problem and solutions in the project scope
- Manage over and appropriately prioritize a portfolio of analytical projects based on contribution to overarching objectives and/or business criticality
- Build and manage effective relationships with a range of stakeholders to ensure utilization and value of information resources and services. Clearly and objectively communicate results, as well as their associated uncertainties and limitations
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new database technologies to meet the growing needs of the business while ensuring fit within a larger digital technology ecosystem and data strategy through our Operations Data Hub
- Design, develop, and/or implement data models of descriptive and predictive nature which may include data validation checks, data transformation and harmonization, and creation of different views to expose the data
- Partner with the function to build and test appropriate analytics models and create greater visibility and enable Procurement to continually improve performance
- Develop data visualization dashboards to allow data interrogation and manipulation for real time performance
- Translate questions and hypothesis from the business into actionable data insights by modelling the data in the single source of truth and presenting insights via easy to consume dashboards

**Key Requirements**:
**Must Have**:

- Proven experience in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, performance and efficiency improvements
- Advanced ability to draw conclusions from data and present in a succinct fashion to stakeholders
- Proven experience in working with colleagues in a global environment and engaging with them to understand their analytical needs and to build a pipeline of analytical requirements
- Hands-on experience in:

- manipulating large datasets & extrapolating insights
- Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Access
- ETL
- Using visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Familiarity with database systems (eg SQL, NoSQL, graph)

**Nice to Have**
- Demonstrated knowledge of data analytic/statistical tools such as R, Python etc.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environmen
