Senior Biostatistician

Perform Lead Biostatistician role on medium complexity studies, providing statistical oversight and attending relevant project meetings

Manage project-specific biostatistics and programming tasks (such as resource planning, timelines and milestone management)

Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans (including mock TFL shells) and develop statistical sections of study protocol for simple to medium complexity studies

Effectively communicate statistical concepts and results to audiences with various statistical knowledge

Perform medium complexity statistical analyses, quality check statistical analyses developed by other statisticians

Conduct overall statistical review of TFLs for complex studies prior to client delivery

Review CRF and other study specific specifications and plans

Perform sample size calculations for simple to medium complexity studies

Prepare and review randomization specifications and generate or validate randomization schedules

Mentor junior biostatisticians within project activities; assigned tasks related to the development of staff within the department

Provide statistical input and review of the CSR for medium complexity studies

**Education**

Master’s degree or equivalent, in biostatistics or related field

**Experience**

5-8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in the preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans, analysis, reporting, etc.

SAS programming experience in the CRO or Pharmaceutical industry preferred

Medical Device experience preferred

Knowledge in all aspects of clinical trials from initial study set-up to study completion preferred
