**About the role**:
Tooling engineers are responsible for the design and development of tools, fixtures, and other equipment used in manufacturing processes. They need to be able to analyze problems and come up with creative solutions that can be easily implemented.

**You're Responsibilities include**:

- Designing and developing new tools that are used for manufacturing products such as molds, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and other forms of machinery
- Analyzing data from tests in order to identify areas for improvement in tool performance or design
- Creating physical models of new tools using computer aided design technology (CAD)
- Ensuring that tools meet industry standards for quality and safety by conducting regular inspections of molds and machines used to manufacture parts
- Consulting with suppliers to select optimal materials for tool construction as well as recommend ways to reduce costs
- Designing and building tools that are used in industrial production processes such as molding plastic parts or machining metal components
- Demonstrate technical knowledge to innovate, develop and/or support processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation in the manufacturing process.
- Create and understand documentation as it relates to technical discipline (e.g., specifications, validations, prototypes, technical manuals, 3D Models/schematics/equipment drawings/BOM’s).
- Participate in problem solving teams using BSC Engineering Essentials Tools, and solve the daily challenges through a mindset with problem solving structure
- Actively participates in cross-functional business improvement opportunities.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with Equipment Project sponsors, clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate Technical Knowledge for Relocation, Installation, Start-up, Qualification, Training and Sustaining of Equipment related to Product / Process Transfers across BSC Manufacturing Network.
- Be a role model in planning skills (+tools), which with your ownership, it can help you sail in the different priorities and dynamics of the operations environment. Demonstrate neat & prioritized execution, derived from an excellent planning, and with a self-sufficient behavior that leverage decision making process

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor degree: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Design.
- Results oriented.
- People oriented.
- Highly disciplined on planning & execution, showing skills & use tools to handle it.
- Excellent communications skills and practices.
- 2D & 3D CAD experience.
- 2+ years of experience in related field
- English Level desired: 70-79%.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- **Desired knowledge**: Problem Solving, Networking, Automation Technologies (Robotics, PLC, Vision, Motion, Sensing, etc), Equipment Design, Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals), Equipment Maintenance.
