**Job Description**:
Experian’s Business Information Services is a R Developer to assist in the maintenance and expansion of the Data Development analytics products including R-Shiny dashboards and their underlying source pipelines.
Other duties are to mentor and train junior developers in new technologies and provide system support on production and customer issues.

What you’ll be doing:

- Designing and implementing ETL pipelines to feed dashboards
- Lead the migration to AWS of our on-prem analytics infrastructure
- Create R Shiny dashboards for different use cases
- Participates in the full SDLC following the Agile methodology
- Deploy production level architectures to support multiple dashboards with mínimalist infrastructure

**Qualifications**:
What your background looks like:

- Experience in big data environments & AWS cloud.
- Manage software development lifecycle independently.
- Produce ongoing reports, using business intelligence (BI) tools, that highlight KPIs, trends, and potential issues.
- Perform ad-hoc data gathering and research, primarily with Excel or BI tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies and results in a way that allow non-technical stakeholders to make decisions.
- Experience with data visualizations and being able to effectively communicate findings using them.
- Be able to take requirements in from business stake holders on visualization needs and build on them.
- QA results of various models and be able to push constructive feedback out to the team.
- Ability to take responsibility for their own work, whilst also collaborating effectively with the rest of the team

Preferred qualifications:

- 3+ years’ R programming experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 1+ years of experience with R Shiny.
- Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL related technologies such as Map Reduce, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, mongoDB, Cassandra, etc. strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data.
- Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening.
- Code management tools - Git
