Job Overview
This position will provide environmental, health and safety support to manufacturing and administrative areas, through improvement and implementation of health and safety culture, incident prevention, risk and hazard identification and the integration of management systems.
Additionally, the position required the creation of EH&S documentation considering the internal and regulatory requirements related to EH&S Topics.
Nature and Overall Purpose of the Role Performed
Establish and implement the Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, considering internal policies and/or directives of TE Connectivity and legal national requirements related to EH&S Topics.
Ensure a systematic model of hazard and risk control in production and support areas.
Promote and implement Safety Culture.
Create and develop EHS Integrated Management System, based in the internal standards and ISO 14001& ISO 45001.
SAFE Element Owner: Ergonomics and BBS.
Responsibility Includes the Following Tasks
Develop and implement hazardous programs as: LOTO, work on heights, machinery guarding, PIT, open blades and hazard recognition.
Bring support in EH&S topics to the cleanrooms and other support areas.
Develop EH&S strategies and programs to guarantee a safe and health work environment.
Create and develop documentation related to Environment, Health and Safety based in the internal TE Standards.
Responsible to develop
Other topics that are part of the job profile, include it but not limited to: Emergency Response Team, BBS, Health and Safety Committee, Ergonomics, EHS trainings, hazardous materials, Chemical Regency, environmental campaigns among others.
What your background should look like:
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience, with knowledge in national legislation and EHS programs.
- Experience in medical devices industries or similar.
- Knowledge in integrated management systems in the ISO standards.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Engineering.
Intermediate or advanced English.
