Job Description
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Data & Analytics (D&A) team in our Technology Hub in Costa Rica. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving architecture for a set of systems and solutions within this domain. You will leverage your knowledge of software engineering and cross-functional collaboration to craft Proof Of Concepts and drive the code those behind solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest in technologies and drive the solutions that build multi-million-dollar brands.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design technical solutions to obtain, process, store and provide insights based on processed data for the D&A team.
- Suggest and implement architecture improvements by influencing overall product roadmap and portfolio choices.
- Influence the future of these new technologies and the ways in which P&G uses them.
- Define solution architecture principles in a given domain and ensure those are followed in the design of new solutions or changes.
- Build and maintain in-depth expertise of how physical data models translate to business processes and drive insights in the given domain.
- Work with cross-functional teams on a global scale, both inside and outside of IT.
- Stay on top of industry trends and standards, as well as internal P&G and D&A recommendations.
Must Have:
- Experience implementing projects and solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), Google Cloud, or AWS
- Previous experience in designing solution architecture and / or leading big architecture projects.
- Experience working in Databricks/Azure Stack or similar.
- Experience writing clean, effective code (i.e. Python, Java, SQL or similar)
- Strong Communication and collaboration skills to drive key partnerships across teams and functions.
- English proficiency and at least a Bachelor's degree; preferred in Computer Science, Computer / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience with SCRUM,DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD.
- Experience leveraging Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Tableu, PowerBI, or similar).
- Understanding of AI/ML, Analytics, Data Modeling, and Data Provisioning (acquisition, transformation and sharing).
- We'll give you responsibilities as of Day 1 - you will feel the ownership of your project from the beginning, and you will be given specific projects and responsibilities
- You'll have continuous mentorship - you will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager
