POSITION SUMMARY
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers
- Test foods for proper cooking
- Ensure food quality and follow safety procedures
- Set up and clean work station
- Serve food properly
- Wash and sanitize kitchen area and equipment
- Check and maintain appliance temperatures
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and report any issues
Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in appearance
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
Develop positive relationships with team members
Ensure compliance with quality standards
Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting objects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Supervisory Experience: None
- License or Certification: Not required
