Job Description

Role Summary

The Data Management Specialist II will oversee essential Data Development client relationships to assist Experian's data providers in improving and preserving the accuracy of their reported data. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, the Data Consultant will identify needs and opportunities for enhanced data management, translating business requirements into analytics/reporting specifications for efficient data management outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a focus on result analysis and presentation for diverse audiences. Proficient critical thinking abilities to link business issues with data quality challenges and vice versa.

  • Ideal candidates must consistently deliver top-notch outcomes in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactivity, and initiative. They should be adept at working under pressure and possess a comprehensive understanding of the data reporting life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for major data providers regarding data reporting and accuracy, including educating on best practices in data reporting
  • Establish and nurture solid relationships with high-profile clients, striving for top-tier customer service
  • Navigate a complex business landscape and engage with Marketing, Sales, and Data Management stakeholders to uphold data reporting quality
  • Evaluate and interpret data provider requirements critically and propose suitable solutions
  • Adopt a sales-focused approach to attract new providers/data and achieve growth targets as part of annual goals
  • Regularly report to senior management on client support request status, leveraging data insights for decision-making and identifying improvement opportunities

Qualifications

2-4 years of client support B2B experience

Preferably, familiarity with the financial industry

Experience in utilizing data warehouse or analytical tools for business purposes (preferred Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker, etc.) is advantageous

Sound understanding of the Credit Reporting Resource Guide
