Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Descripción de Familia de Puesto Funcional

El Supervisor(a) de Producción es quien lidera al equipo de producción de su línea de manufactura para el cumplimiento de los indicadores operacionales, con especial énfasis al Output y Talento Humano, asegurando el seguimiento de los procedimientos y políticas de la compañía. Mantiene -y sostiene- una estrecha relación con los miembros del Core Team y otros departamentos de soporte como EHS, Facilidades, Mantenimiento, Recursos Humanos, Compras, Planning etc. Adicionalmente maneja herramientas como el sistema ERP en curso, Smartsolve, Softland, MP2, Office, TEIS Service, etc.

Entre sus principales responsabilidades, está la de garantizar que los materiales y suministros se encuentren disponibles para evitar interrupciones en el flujo de suministro, todo esto en reuniones proactivas -no reactivas-, sostenidas con el departamento de Planning y Core Team; debe asegurarse que las máquinas y equipos periféricos funcionen y que las instalaciones de producción cumplan con los estándares de Seguridad y Calidad.

Esta posición demanda el manejo de habilidades blandas, resolución de conflictos, inteligencia emocional, comunicación asertiva, hablar en público, retroalimentación oportuna, gestión del cambio, empatía y liderar con el ejemplo para fungir como el primer representante de la compañía ante nuestra gente.

RESPONSABILIDADES & TAREAS

Responsable de las siguientes Tareas

EH&S

  • Utilizar Equipo de Protección Personal (EPP) y vestimenta apropiada para su área de trabajo (red de cabello, gabacha, lentes de seguridad, etc.).
  • Seguir los lineamientos de seguridad establecidos en los procedimientos y/o políticas de la empresa.
  • Promover el uso y participación de los programas de EH&S como AseguraTE, Great Catch, etc. – ICD (Indicador Clave de Desempeño).
  • Realizar estiramientos y micro estiramientos establecidos en los procedimientos y/o políticas de la empresa.
  • Cero incidentes de seguridad (por Negligencia Operativa) – ICD (Indicador Clave de Desempeño).

Naturaleza y Propósito General del Rol


• Crear una cultura de seguridad, siguiendo las pautas de seguridad de la compañía.


• Rotar al personal de sus estaciones de trabajo de acuerdo con los lineamientos acordados en conjunto con EHS.


• De acuerdo con el Sistema de Calidad debe seguir las pautas, los procedimientos y las políticas de la empresa y del departamento de Producción/Operaciones.


• Reemplazar a otros Supervisores de Producción, en caso de soporte (Back-up).


• Evaluar las estaciones de la operación de producción para garantizar que puedan cumplir con las metas de producción.


• Disponibilidad de dar soporte en otros turnos cuando sea requerido.


• Ser el punto de contacto entre los empleados operativos y gerencia para garantizar que los procedimientos y las políticas de la compañía se acaten.


• Crear en conjunto con el departamento de Planning los planes de producción.


• Generar y ejecutar un consistente programa de entrenamiento cruzado de los Operarios de Producción a su cargo que le permita cubrir ausencias y rotar al personal.


• Lectura y comprensión de planos y otros documentos técnicos.


• Seguir las instrucciones, directrices preestablecidas en los procedimientos de manufactura (MPIs).


• Responsable del desempeño y planes de desarrollo de su personal a cargo.
