Job Description

The Costa Rica FP&A Team is looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support the North America business. Responsibilities include month end close tasks, revenue and cost forecasting, annual budgeting, monitoring business performance metrics, and conducting ad hoc analysis. This role focuses on providing internal revenue business partner support within the business unit, collaborating with Finance teams in North American Corporate Experian.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Regular reporting and monitoring of key performance metrics compared to targets for existing lead generation offerings.
  • Financial modeling of future performance based on historical trends and future business plans.
  • Improving processes and standardizing financial reporting and analysis models.
  • Generating revenue reports using Forecast, Budget, and Run Rates data.
  • Supporting Month End, Monthly Forecast, and Budget season for the business unit P&L.
  • Identifying issues and opportunities affecting revenue and taking necessary actions.
  • Discovering key performance metrics for insights and collaborating with the analytics team for required reporting.
  • Reporting on revenue and costs by segmentations, conducting scenario analysis for revenue outcomes.
  • Maintaining a strong control environment for effective decision-making.
  • Collaborating with different functional teams to manage costs effectively.
  • Providing financial support for new lead generation offerings in new markets.
  • Handling ad hoc requests from various business functions or leadership.
  • Contributing to monthly financial packages and serving as a backup for routine team tasks.
  • Managing multiple tasks and miscellaneous finance team responsibilities efficiently.
  • Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Creating and updating procedure documents for routine processes.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required.
  • 4+ years of progressive Finance experience at a business unit level.
  • Experience in commercial finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling and scenario evaluation.
  • Ability to analyze large financial datasets and extract key insights accurately.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and financial systems.
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Proactive, independent, with a track record of driving processes and continuous improvement.
  • Working efficiently under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and problems solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration, CPA, or a related Master's degree.
  • Experience with Power Bi, Tableau, Oracle, and Hyperion is advantageous.
  • Skills in model development.
