EXPECTED TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing, transferring, and implementing testing methods for various materials and products based on approved and validated procedures.
  • Support in validating and conducting tests on environmental samples, bioburden, and analysis, among others.
  • Create different types of documents such as local SOPs.
  • Oversee daily operations of the microbiology lab, with potential for leadership.
  • Ensure reliability of analyses, data integrity, and investigation of issues.
  • Contribute to calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Prepare laboratory metrics.
  • Provide training for lab technicians.
  • Monitor progress and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Manage the lab team if needed.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
  • Support procurement and inventory management.
  • Handle other delegated tasks post-training.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Microbiology degree required.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and advanced English skills.
  • 2 years of experience in microbiology labs.
  • Preferred experience in industrial test validations.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods validation and QMS.
  • Understanding of process validation and laboratory systems.
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical and medical devices testing methods.
  • Competence in current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Effective communication skills for technical reporting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt.
  • Team player with relationship-building skills.
