The position involves assisting the Business Technology (BT) support teams with the technical support of IT infrastructure technology which includes but is not limited to the following devices - workstations, laptops, Macs, iPads, printers, network equipment, telephones, backup appliances, wireless access points, server equipment, storage devices, routers, switches, and any other technology used to conduct business.

Additional requirements are to actively contribute to the development of policies and procedures to continuously improve and simplify technology services across the enterprise.

This position is also responsible for participating in hardware roadmap planning sessions and testing new products to validate compatibility and functionality.

In addition, this position will be the local escalation contact for any related IT support issues.

Escalations will flow up with Team Leads and to the BT Support Leads when needed to quickly resolve any urgent business-impacting issues.

This position will be the local corporate IT representative to answer any IT related questions and train the local staff on how to enter service requests and how to best utilize the current support model.

In addition, this position will keep local management informed on technology trends and ensure local alignment with Corporate policies and hardware standards to best maintain system availability.


Requisitos:

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements: 1-2 years' experience with end user technology support and customer service IT related environments Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Valid driver's license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required Must be proficient at technical troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, mobile technology devices, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office365, and other desktop software Must be able to use remote support tools to be able to troubleshoot remote computer devices Some travel required (up to 5%) Effective business English communication skills (verbal and writing) Ability to effectively communicate, understand, and empathize with others. Ability to interact with others respectfully and develop productive working relationship to minimize conflict and maximize rapport. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and work independently towards set goals. Ability to comply with physical demands of the job and health and safety regulations Able to multi-task and open to assigned flexible hours and on-call rotation Aptitude to resolve technical issues and conduct system checks to ensure First Call Resolution Ability to communicate resolutions using business terminology Requires basic working knowledge of all hardware/software concepts, including all supported Microsoft and network management tools Professionalism and inclusiveness within a team environment while working with all levels Ability to perform basic troubleshooting to identify root cause and resolve the issue or reassign the ticket as needed
