Freight Handler Assistant, remote

We are looking for an employee for remote work and a flexible schedule who will administer the freight forwarding of the wholesale cargo from one country to another. The company is engaged in wholesale purchases and sales of tires and spare parts in the US.

All processes are set up. It is required to solve administrative issues during transportation and interact with the owner of the business, as well as to resolve issues during his absence. You need to be involved in business, keep your finger on the pulse and be in touch with urgent issues.

- Container Control

  • Docs
- invoices

  • BL (bill of lading)
  • ISF (manifest for the customers)

- Warehouse / source when the tires are coming
- scheduling
- control of loading tires
- estimates when the container gets delivered

- Payments
- different payment terms for different customers
- work with accounting regarding the payments

- Languages
- english
- spanish would be useful

- Excel
- organize everything
- vlookups
- pricing research / comparison and control
- medium to advanced skills

Hours availability_

  • Time zone
    UTC/GMT 5 hours:
  • Monday -Friday
    7am to 7:30 pm:
  • You shall be in touch (available on call, etc)
  • At least 45 hours administrative work on freight forwarding (PC work)
