Financial Counselor

Come be part of our team at Fisher Investments Costa Rica as an Investment Counselor and serve as the main point of contact for a group of high-net-worth clients. With a focus on providing excellent service to clients, you won't have to juggle multiple roles like a traditional Financial Advisor.

About the Role

As an Investment Counselor, you will be the direct link to our clients in the United States. You will collaborate with our internal portfolio decision-makers, support research teams, client service associates, and experienced sales professionals to deliver top-notch service. Working as a fee-only fiduciary firm ensures that our compensation model is in line with our clients' best interests without commission-based incentives.

Through our comprehensive training program, you will gain a deep understanding of US financial markets and our unique investment strategy. You will also have the opportunity to acquire necessary licenses and will have the guidance of a group manager for career development.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with clients in the Private Client Group, educate them on our portfolio strategy, investments, and market dynamics
• Regularly engage with clients to review asset allocation and progress towards their financial objectives
• Collaborate with the sales team to expand your network of high-net-worth clients

Requirements

• 2+ years of building client relationships
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Series 65 qualification (support provided)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Passion for global financial markets
• Client-focused with a consultative approach
