Responsibilities:

The activities and responsibilities of the LAM Pricing & Competitive Analyst include:

  • Review and prepare pricing databases, reports on a monthly basis for Price realization and/or price changes.
  • Investigation, collection, and planning of competitive intelligence
  • Development of product marketing intelligence strategies.
  • Research and data analysis for strategic planning and business strategies.
  • Mapping market trends and consumer/target industries' behaviors.
  • Pricing Intelligence.
  • Continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Development and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research to provide strategic inputs to related areas.
  • Prepare and provide reports to Management team in a timely manner.
  • Work cross functionally across product line owners, sales, industry marketing, technology, and other Emerson businesses to prioritize work for the strongest business opportunities.
  • Assist sales and marketing teams in the price positioning of new products or services

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • College graduate with degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing and with more than four years' experience in Business Intelligence methodologies, price strategies or related field.
  • MBA (Desired).
  • Experience:
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodologies competitivity and pricing oriented
  • Have ability to plan and execute projects, with analytical thinking
  • Have experience with B2B markets
  • Knowledge of the Industrial Instrumentation and/or Industrial Automation market is a big plus
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience with market intelligence and pricing in B2B markets
  • Power BI, Advanced Excel and Power Point proficiency skills are mandatory
  • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and goalfocused skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Fluent in Portuguese (Desired)

Working Conditions

  • This position requires international/domestic travel (20%) for meetings with Emerson BU management team and Sales teams within the Latin America region.
