The Gross to Net Center of Excellence (G2N CoE) is part of Global Business Solutions (GBS) and consists of Chargebacks and Medicaid Rebate Operations.

The G2N CoE processes wholesaler chargeback submissions with an annual volume of 10 million lines totaling $7.5 billion in credits and pays Medicaid rebate claims totaling $1.1 billion annually.


The G2N CoE has colleagues in three locations:

Memphis, TN, Tampa, FL, and San Jose, Costa Rica, each playing an important role in the domestic revenue cycle.

What You Will Achieve

Chargebacks and Medicaid Rebates are large and complex processes. The G2N manager will be accountable for process design, execution, compliance, and governance.

Their responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Leading a team of finance professionals responsible for the efficient and timely processing of chargeback submissions, indirect customer master data, and contract eligibility
  • Researching chargeback disputes and triaging submission quality issues
  • Ensuring adherence to all metric benchmarks, SLAs, and working capital targets.
  • Participating with Trade and Contract Strategy Management in the finalization of Distribution Services Agreements
  • Leading the maintenance of an effective internal control structure, ensuring compliance with Pfizer policy and US laws and regulations, and proactively managing existing and new risks.
  • Leading and/or sponsoring site, organization, and/or critical transformational initiatives
How You Will Achieve It

  • Maintaining a close working relationship with Market Access Operations in order to resolve issues in the endtoend chargeback process.
  • Maintaining a close working relationship with Digital partners to ensure consistent system performance and involvement in all Digital initiatives
  • Collaborating with Accounts Receivable and Collections on deduction tracking and cycle times
  • Attending and contributing to regularly scheduled customer meetings and customer scorecard evaluations
  • Supporting internal and external audits with all deliverables and milestones.
  • Maintaining ownership of key process documentation and operating procedures
  • Building G2N bench strength by developing and mentoring key colleagues

Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in a businessrelated discipline
  • 8+ years financial services or corporate finance experience
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Strong business acumen and professionalism with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues in all functional areas
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions
  • Ability to grow and develop leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice-to-Have

  • SAP, Model N FLEX, or Reltio experience
  • Project management experience
