Summary: Responsible for procuring materials and equipment to ensure customer service and inventory turn objectives are met. Optimize cost, quality, delivery, and service in a fast-paced setting. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive competitive advantage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Materials Administration: Generates and expedites purchase orders, maintains service levels, and drives cost savings. Manages complex commodities and promotes change.
  • Supplier Management: Monitors quality and delivery, obtains bids, resolves supplier issues, and stays updated on market trends. Ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Makes purchasing decisions to enhance customer service, inventory turns, and minimize costs. Manages materials effectively.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2-5 years of experience or equivalent. Master's degree is advantageous. Proficient in English communication and computer skills.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a team environment, varying schedules, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in analyzing business information and problem-solving. Capable of interpreting instructions and applying mathematical concepts.
