HR Generalist - What You'll Do:

As an HR Generalist based in Costa Rica, you will play a key role in supporting our recruitment efforts and HR functions globally, aligning with our growth strategy and ensuring the continuity of HR services.


Reporting directly to the CHRO, you will:

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage fullcycle recruiting efforts to meet the growing demands of our global SaaS company, enhancing our talent acquisition strategy and minimizing recruitment cycle times.
  • Onboarding and Training: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and providing training resources to support their growth.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering a positive work environment and addressing concerns to improve employee retention and satisfaction.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies are consistently applied and compliant with local laws, contributing to the development and implementation of new policies as needed.
  • HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives, including diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and performance management.

The Skills, Experience, and Mindset Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR with a focus on recruiting and employee relations. Experience in the technology or SaaS industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Costa Rican employment law and HR best practices. Knowledge of American and Canadian employment law and HR best practices preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and recruiting top talent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
