The Opportunity
This position works out of our Coyol de Alajuela location in the Sturctural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
This position is responsible for supporting daily tasks for the Analytical Laboratory Group.
What You'll Do
• Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions, managing one's own reactions, and addressing unacceptable behavior.
• Keep records of statistical data, prepare and process laboratory metrics.
• Keep track of inventory levels of office supplies.
• Provide administrative support on a daily basis to all laboratory personnel at Costa Rica facility.
• Keep lab work stations organized and clean.
• Manages the IN/OUT shelves and expiration date of reagents.
• Monitor and keep organized the internal organizational forms such as purchase orders, Analytical request forms, Sample Receives Log, etc
• Perform record scanning and archiving.
• Provide assistance to execution of analysis processes.
• Support and send out final analytical reports to clients.
SHIFT: B Monday - Friday at 3:30pm at 10:00pm and Saturday 8:00am at 3:30pm
Required Qualifications
High School Degree required. At least 1 year of experience Basic use of MS Office software Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety in the work place. Basic English levelPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a regulated laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred. Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, such as pH meter, analytical balance, refrigeration, and others, preferred.-
