Work for two of the global leading sailing holiday companies, Sunsail and The Moorings, part of the Travelopia Group, operating in over 25 destinations worldwide.

We are seeking a
Content Manager who can cut through the clutter to curate and communicate our content strategy.


The role will support the international marketing teams for Sunsail and The Moorings, using content and various social channels to improve audience engagement, manage communities and acquire, retain, and convert a qualified customer base.

You should be a strong content strategist with social media skills, comfortable setting and implementing both local and overseas strategies, and measuring, analyzing, and reporting on performance and its importance to all stakeholders.


The ultimate goal is to tell a story that engages our target audiences, increase brand awareness, recommendations, and advocacy, and drive traffic to both websites.

What you will be doing


In this role, you will report to the Head of Digital Marketing and will be working closely with a team of Marketing Managers worldwide to drive content strategy across our 7 source markets.


_Strategy, planning, and innovation:
_


  • Build and lead the implementation of Sunsail and The Moorings' outstanding and distinct content strategies, bringing each brand's story to life, taking into consideration the different marketing targets, audiences, and countries.
  • Be accountable for the development, distribution, and strategic efforts of crafting messaging to engage and delight audiences crosschannel.
  • Stay uptodate with developments and generate innovative ideas to draw the audience's attention in all markets and channels for The Moorings and Sunsail.
  • Performance report, and customer insight reporting, and highlight what content means for the brands.

_Delivery:
_


  • Global Content Strategy and Implementation Plan.
  • Ensure that the overall strategic approach is followed by all markets.
  • Responsible for all budgeting and reporting for all markets.
  • Develop an editorial calendar and ensure marketing teams are on board.
  • Handle content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
  • Optimize content according to SEO.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.
  • Build and publish engaging content.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve writers' posts.
  • Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency.

_Work closely with:

  • Heads of marketing to develop a crosschannel content strategy.
  • The local marketing teams to recommend how best to translate campaign advertising onto social media and to make sure all campaigns' content is aligned.
  • PPC and SEO teams to ensure the optimization of campaigns.
  • Other content teams within Travelopia to identify new and ongoing trends.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience and love for driving and delivering a multichannel content strategy.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Manager.
  • 3+ years' proven experience in handling content across a variety of channels, audiences, and languages.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with media platforms.
  • Love for storytelling and current trends.
  • Demonstrable ability within a corporate environment, ideally experience of how digital channels can support a content strategy.
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM is a plus.
  • Strong sense of writing, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive approach and problemsolving.
  • Excellent communicator with internal departments and external agencies/suppliers.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Selfstarter.
  • A love for travel, sailing, or onthewater activities would be an advantage.
