Quality Engineer (Hybrid)

Heredia, Costa Rica
SGF Global is looking for a Quality Engineer, for IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
  • Strong Automation testing knowledge and skills (Selenium, Java, Maven, Cucumber, Git, and Jenkins)
  • Strong experience on Mobile web app experience, NodeJS, Typescript, WebDriver IO
  • Good knowledge on Test Metrics, Test planning and Quality maturity
  • Good knowledge in SQL and UNIX commands
  • Exposure to TDD & Behavior Driven Development and experience in programming and testing.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology
  • Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools
  • Knowledge about Linux environment (Nice to have)
  • Experience in any DB (Nice to have)
  • Certification (Good to have): Selenium WebDriver, Core Java

Duties and Tasks:

  • Experience in automated execution using Automation tools.
  • Progress reporting and risk assessments
  • Proficient in different phases of testing like Functional, E2E, Regression and Integration Testing
  • Identify code optimization area to make execution faster.
  • Automation feasibility analysis / Automation test plan
  • Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
